About Dana Newman

Dana Newman Born in Chicago,Il.Dana has had a lifelong love of art.He created his first painting at the age of two.
He studied Commercial Art at Chicago Vocational HS.where he sold his first paintings,and after graduating HS, he studied Fine Art,Studio Painting,Life Painting,and Scientific Illustration at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.He is well versed in the use of Oils,Watercolors,Acrylics,Pencil,and Pastels.
His works are found in private collections,and Wyler's Childen's Hospital in Chicago.
He specializes in the painting of portraits,people and animals(wildlife and pets).
Dana is currently an instructor at The Art Studio in Westminster,CA. He teaches the nuances of watercolor painting
