About Dana Newman

Born in Chicago, Il. I have had a lifelong love of art. I created my first painting at the age of five. I studied Commercial Art at Chicago Vocational HS. and sold my first painting while in HS. I went on to study Fine Art, Studio Painting, Life Painting, and Scientific Illustration at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. I am versed in the use of Oils, Watercolors, Acrylics, Pencil, and Pastels. My artwork is in private collections worldwide, and public such as Wyler's Children's Hospital in Chicago.
